Faster than the competition because it picks up two bales or bundles per loader cycle, the Auto Align® bale stacking system allows one person to roadside 50-70 bales or bundles per hour. The 12SR PLUS stacks twelve (3X3) dry bales six high and two wide per load or eight (21 pack) bale bundles four high and two wide per load. The large square bales can be picked up and stacked on or off strings.
Features may include:
Easy PickingBales/Bundles can be picked on the go at speeds up to 5 mph. The operator can approach the bales/bundles from any direction as they will slide sideways and turn to fit between the arms as the Bale Skoop is driven forward.
The grab hooks come out from behind the loader and holds the first bale in place. One hydraulic cylinder is used to activate the six large hooks. Unique floating pipes are connected to the ends of the alignment arms. With the loader raised 8 to 12 inches the pipes slide down to allow the alignment arms to hold the second bale creating the forward stair step to each row.
Alignment arms align the first bale/bundle to the center of the machine. Then the grab hooks automatically engage to hold the first bale/bundle in place, and up off the ground so they DON’T DRAG, allowing the alignment arms to open and engage the second bale/bundle. The inclined bed of the Bale Skoop allows bales/bundles to slide to the back.
The top bale/bundle is held in place by the alignment arms on the loader. At the stacking location, with the hitch offset and steering with the hitch allows the operator to see the existing stack so the load can be easily aligned. Once the bed is vertical, the alignment arms are opened, and the Bale Skoop is driven forward to remove the forklift teeth from under the stack.
Low MaintenanceThe unique sequencing valve arrangement employs a custom sequence valve and a 4-way valve. Together these two valves sequence the alignment arms, grab hooks and loader. The hydraulic hoses are laid out neatly for easy access.
A 22,000 lb. capacity axle is bolted to the Bale Skoop. The 12SR comes standard with high flotation Terra Tires.
The manifold, located at the end of the hitch allows for easy servicing. The hitch is cradled at the pivot point for added strength. Plastic plates are placed at the contact points to decrease wear.
A ball hitch and labeled hydraulic hoses makes connecting to the tractor easy.
The warning light that is placed in the cab indicates if the Bale Skoop is offset from the travel of the tractor.
