2024 New Holland GNSS Positioning and Connectivity NAV-900
NAV-900 GUIDANCE CONTROLLERThe NAV-900 guidance controller has a built-in antenna, receiver, and terrain compensation. The NAV-900 guidance controller is built for maximum GNSS uptime and a wide range of accuracy options from basic to high accuracy. It is designed to mount on the roof of most agricultural vehicles to provide positioning and guidance for the following display and guidance systems:
- IntelliView IV: IntelliSteer MotorDrive / EZ-Pilot Pro
- XCN-1050: AutoPilot MotorDrive / EZ-Pilot Pro
- XCN-750: AutoPilot MotorDrive / EZ-Pilot Pro
The NAV-900 Guidance Controller features a powerful GNSS engine combined with its industry-leading Guidance Controller in a single assembly. Improved convergence time and a robust position is guaranteed due to the GNSS receiver supporting multiple constellation satellite systems:
- GPS
- GLONASS
- QZSS
- Galileo
For basic and medium accuracy correction signals, the NAV-900 can be used with the RangePoint® RTX or CenterPoint® RTX satellite-based corrections. For high accuracy, the receiver can be upgraded to RTK to achieve 2.5cm accuracy. The RTK correction can be received using NTRIP technology through the cellular phone network or radio technology from an RTK base station on the farm.
A simplified setup with fewer components allows for an easier installation process and increased compatibility with the following steering systems:
- CANbus - direct CANbus messages for guidance-ready vehicles
- Electric - using Autopilot Motor Drive
- Hydraulic - using an external NAV III or VDM guidance controller
Features may include:
Receiver Features- Base or medium accuracy options available to meet your specific needs
- Galileo and Beidou satellite constellations included in position calculation
- Advanced GNSS position smoothing filter improves pass-to-pass accuracy and minimizes position drift
