All 150 Series models are equipped with a Udor Zeta 170 diaphragm pump situated in the front of the sprayer on a steel bridge over the driveline. This is called hi drive system, under the bridge is a jackshaft with two bearings (pillow blocks) and a sprocket, this hi drive system utilizes a chain drive with a chain tighener. This technology is tried and proven and extremely easy for maintance issues. This system allows the implementation of the Gear Up and Throttle Down concept which can save you between $1000 and $2000 annual in fuel savings.

All 150 series models have a 5" tube frame, stainless steel turbine either in 24 or 30 inch size, wide mouth rear outlets, a 13 nozzle boom on each side equipped with vf19 on/off and teejet TXVK one piece color coded ceramic tip nozzles.

All 150 seriers models have a 35 series weasler driveline, and Teejet SS electric ball valve controls (without pressure adj at the tractor.) - no other controls are offered.

Like all series of Turbomist sprayers, these models have a IP regulator with tungsen carbide and ss seat for precision pressure control.

All 150 series models have adjustable 2" axles with 6 bolt hubs.

All 150 series models have 304 stainless steel tanks with pulled outlets and rounded ends, 14 ga ends and 14ga wraps. These tanks carry the same 10 year limited warranty as higher series.

All 150 series sprayers have no options available, other than split booms, from the factory but things such as steps and final filters, drain extensions can be installed by the dealer locally.

The 150 series machines will provide the exact same coverage as higher series, they lack all the bells and whisles of the loaded 250 series and their frames are lighter than the 350 and 450 series but when used properly will have an extended life time, likely in excess of 20 years. If you have employees that are hard on equipment, you should consider moving up to the 350 series units simply to get the heavier frame and axles.

Currently Turbomist 150 series sprayers are operating as many as 1600 hours per year, its not about the sheer amount of use, but rather the type of abuse that may require a higher series on your ranch.

The entire concept of the 150 Series is to provide a high quality sprayer which will provide excellent coverage over the long term at a low cost and with low maintenance requirements.
